Me? I'll sleep as late as I like, make as much money as I can, and if he wants fresh, warm tortillas in the morning, we can hire us a cook to make them for both of us!

And I'll shave my legs when they need it - though in my profession (computer science), that's not very often. Treat me like the princess I am, however, and I'll keep 'em as smooth as that bottle of '88 Dom Perignon you're buying me. As for Mexican men finding themselves used then tossed aside, well, I sympathize with their situation. I know just how they feel, though I can't help but giggle a little over the obvious double standard.

Dude, you're gettin' a Cell!

It seems so unfair that Dell Pitchman gets his name flung all over the world just for doing what actors do best - smoking pot.

if an Apple pitchman were caught with weed, it would only enhance his reputation. Remember Ellen Feiss? Her clueless, doped up lookin' performance won her a loyal internet following. The rumor was that she did the ad while on some decongestant or other.

It's actually better to watch it with the audio OFF to fully appreciate how doped up she really looks. But she's a Mac user so it's OK - the Apple Mac systems are that forgiving.

18 times the speed of light!

Heard on NBC news, the space shuttle struck the earth's atmosphere traveling over 18 times the speed of light. That's pretty impressive! But don't you think that if they'd achieved the speed of light, they could go back in time far (long) enough to fix the problem so it wouldn't happen? Or is the penalty for violating the laws of physics to fly apart and crash to the ground?

I think it should be a requirement that TV news anchors take at least high school physics and chemistry classes so they can better filter the crap they read on the teleprompter. And whoever writes the drivel on the teleprompter should be replaced by someone with an actual education.

Morel Mushrooms ROCK!

And I got a great deal on dried Porcini mushrooms too, at Pistol River Mushrooms in Southern Oregon. The mushrooms were well packed and in excellent condition. I keep mine in the freezer, but you don't have to. I just don't want the humidity to change their condition.

And the prices are the best on the web for a legitimate business - important when dealing with Morels, as one particular variety (not really a morel - called a "false morel") can make the eater very sick if he consumes alcohol within 5 days of consuming it.

But Morel Mushrooms ROCK!!!
